Staff Learning & Development

We view staff development as a vital component of our success at Rossie. It helps us improve efficiency and consistency in our service to our young people.

It ensures all staff are up to date with new regulation, improving our compliance. It also helps our staff build confidence in current skills, and inspires them to acquire new skills and qualifications.

We are committed to ensuring our staff have the opportunity to develop professionally and personally. All staff and our young people receive recognition for achievements and success is shared and celebrated throughout the organisation.

Rossie Training Centre

Our SQA approved Training Centre has become our hub for learning and studying. The Centre contains offices, brightly decorated open meeting and training rooms, a conference room and an IT suite. This functional space is used for internal and external training, staff meetings, presentations and conference calls. Staff can use the IT suite for study days or catching up with some paper work. The Training Centre is complete with a modern and furnished kitchen space, where they can prepare any drinks or food, read a book on the comfortable couches or catch up with colleagues.

Who we help

I view my time in Secure as a rebirth. I was given the chance to let go of all my responsibilities from home and focus on myself. To have been given the opportunity to learn how to live my life again is very much appreciated
