Rossie Shortlisted for the Chamber Champion Award

By August 16, 2019 No Comments

Rossie has been shortlisted as one of six organisations for the inaugural award. Voting now OPEN.

The Award, which has a prize fund worth £7,500 with the STV Growth Fund, invited Chamber Members to demonstrate that they are a Champion of Dundee and Angus. The award has given Rossie the opportunity to tell our story, how we have actively championed the region, from supporting the local economy through jobs and services to working with local partners and stakeholders to benefit our young people and community. Our young people are the heart of Rossie and the driver of everything we do.

Rossie has been a member of the Dundee and Angus Chamber for the last 2 years enhancing our professional and business profile locally regionally, nationally and internationally. This in turn has resulted in increased positive employment and skills-based opportunities for young people placed in our care.

Rossie’s multiple partnerships with local businesses, suppliers and charities show that we are an outward facing welcoming inclusive organisation that appreciates and values the strengths of partnerships, collaboration and the benefits of reciprocal relationships.

Mary Geaney / CEO said “I am absolutely delighted that Rossie has been shortlisted to finalist stage of this very prestigious Chamber Award. Getting to this stage of the competition is genuine recognition by our many partners and stakeholders of the important and worthwhile  work we do with the most vulnerable young people across Scotland. “

The voting is now open to the public until August 23rd at noon. Click on the link below to vote for Rossie as your Chamber Champion.
