Acts of Kindness During Lockdown

By August 1, 2020 No Comments

During lockdown, our young people have been keeping busy while keeping the community in mind.

Compassion for others is as important as ever in the current Coronavirus pandemic. With empathetic messages of kindness and encouragement, tasty baked goods and a variety of crafty items, it’s wonderful to know that, despite social distancing, communities are coming together to support each other through this difficult time.

Items were donated by young people at Rossie to Montorse charity, Simmer Doon. The initiative, set up to help those who may be affected by the the Coronavirus pandemic, produces and donates healthy and nutritional soup bags, helping to alleviate the stresses of self-isolation.

Rossie’s Throughcare worker, Jan tells Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) of the community spirit our young people have with a heart-warming letter of encouragement from a young person living in Rossie.
