Each year, our friends at Gillespie Macandrew donate a percentage of their pre-tax profits to charity, and we at Rossie are honoured to receive a share of Gillespie’s £30,000 charity donation.
The £10,000 will be hugely beneficial to many of our projects.
For the past 6 years, employees at Gillespie Macandrew have been contributing their “person-days” to environmental projects at Rossie. With the help of their man-hours over the years, we have seen huge developments in our Butterfly Meadow, wetland wood-walk, Willow Classroom and our woodland walks.
This year, we are excited to see increased development in our sensory garden, called ‘Jasmine’s Garden’. This garden was proposed and designed by a young person in Rossie to create a “magical” and “safe” environment where young people can go to relax, reflect and enjoy nature.
Our thanks cannot be said enough, and we look forward to welcoming Gillespie Macandrew again in the coming weeks and months.
